Let’s make it Right
I have been asked by many, why bother?
Let me tell you why.
I have resided in the Redlands for 38 years, of which I have operated a business for 27 of those years.
We are all observers of politics at some point in our life, and come to accept taxes, rates, charges, fees and levies. We generally put it all behind us and get on with life.
What I can’t accept is bad management, poor decision making, and at times, when the hard calls need to be made, a council that goes missing.
Friends, this is totally unacceptable. You need to have confidence in your council. You need to know your rates are being managed properly, services are being maintained and projects implemented for the benefit of the entire community.
I have seen this shire progress over the years. I have seen families make Redland City their home.
The last four years we have seen a council focusing on nothing more than the whims of a few minority groups. This is eroding our lifestyle and opportunities. Redland City needs a new captain and crew. A crew with business and community skills. I want to turn this ship around and point it in the right direction.
I need your support to put Redland City back on its feet.
Let’s make it Right
My Pledge To You
- To listen and act on behalf of the residents of Division 6
- To be your voice
- To report all relevant information, judgements and decisions that will impact your lifestyle
- To sit independently on Council. With no political or hidden alliances.
Why
- This current Council has an inability to manage our money
- Our rates and water charges are out of control
- We have had an explosion of senior management. There needs to be a serious realignment of skills and experience against the real issues facing this city.
Again
- Rate payers money wasted
- Hard decisions passed over
- Inability to negotiate with the State and Federal Governments
- No real vision for the next generation
Redland City needs serious representation by serious people, who will not lay idle for three and a half years, sitting on their hands. Redland City needs people that have the ability to make things happen, for the future of our children, for the wellbeing of our retirees, for the healthy longevity of our wildlife and habitat.
For these reasons my friends, I am your candidate for Division 6 in 2012.

Weinam Wetlands
Nothing more than a google map with pink and purple dots?....or…If we look closer, is this a cover for an obvious solution to the Weinam Creek parking issue. The big picture tells me the Wienam solution must include benefits to SMBI, mainlanders and tourists. Moores, Meisner and The Esplanade precinct should be considered a real solution. Not just locked away as ‘Wetland’

Toondah Harbour, too hard, too scared, too close to an election
Toondah Harbour, the gateway to NSI, how to make an impression, give our visitors a destination. Council’s chance to take control, not a chance now. once again no thought for the city, for opportunity or for the future. RCC have missed the boat again. Let’s make it right!
